I'm so excited...we got paint for the nursery today!!! The room is already light blue and the dinosaur stuff is blue, green and yellow so we decided to paint the bottom half green. We will put the dinosaur border between the two colors. Lance is going to paint dinosaurs on one of the wall. Ann gave us money for our crib and my mom is going to get us our dresser. We're going next week to get them because we have a coupon. Hopefully we can get the room painted before we get the furniture. I'll post pics once we get it done!!!

I was taking Emily back to the airport yesterday morning and it was icy out before the sun came up. We slid into the guard rail and then up into the other lane facing the oncoming traffic. I was so worried about Taylor! A very nice fireman stopped to help us while the police were on their way. The car is drivable but banged up. Royce brought Lance down to get us and take Emily to the airport. She ended up missing the early flight, but made it out on the noon flight. We went to the ER just to check and make sure Taylor was okay. They listened to her heartbeat and said she was fine. She moved around all yesterday, that was comforting. The doctor said I would be sore today and boy was she right! My neck and shoulders are killing me and my sciatic nerve pain is a lot worse. I am very grateful that those are the only problems and that Taylor is okay. Hopefully today will be a much less stressful day!

Emily came to visit me today. We were watching the youtube video of the guy from American Idol who sang "I am your brother," an awful song he wrote and sang so horribly it was funny. When he hit one of his terrible high notes Taylor kicked me hard! I'm excited that she is responding to music because she certainly is going to be hearing a lot of it in the next few months traveling around with me to all of my lessons and classes.

Today we went out and bought our first girl outfit. Actually it's an outfit and a half...we picked out a skirt and Lance and I both picked out a top to go with it. The one he picked says "Daddy's little Sweetheart" and the one I picked says "Mommy's little sunshine." I'm sure I won't buy any more outfits until after the shower...but I had to get something girlie and get it out of my system:)

We're over half way there! We had a checkup today and Taylor is healthy with a heartbeat around 150. I have to give blood next time for my glucose test...Ick! Hopefully they will be able to find my vein without sticking me 87 times this time:) We also found out that we will be giving birth at West Penn Hospital in downtown Pittsburgh instead of Cranberry like we thought. Hopefully we won't have to try to get there in rush hour traffic. I have been having some really bad sciatic nerve pain and asked the doctor about it...she said unfortunately it will probably just get worse from here on out. She said she could send me to a physical therapist or just try some prenatal yoga. I'm going to try the yoga and if that doesn't work at my next visit I'll ask for a physical therapist referral. Here's my 21 week pic:)

I had an excellent Valentine's day (which we actually did the day before Valentine's day because I had to work then we went to my parents house to see Jeff and Christi). We went and registered for baby stuff at Babies R' Us and Target since we know we're having a little girl. Lance said his present for me would be that he would be nice to me ALL day (as long as I didn't push it):) It was a lot of fun...it feels more real the closer we get and the more we do to get ready! I got Lance some new dress shoes (boring I know) but he really needed them...his old ones were 10 years old and worn almost all the way through. I taught lessons in the evening, but when I got home I had some beautiful flowers and some yummy chocolate waiting for me! Here's a pic of my flowers.

and Taylor Makenzie Huntsman is her name:) She was bouncing all over the place giving the ultrasound tech a hard time...Mom said that it's just a sign of things to come and that I was going to get what was coming to me for being such a wild little girl. Here's her sweet little profile picture!!!

I am feeling particularly massive today and normally that would make me pouty, but...it is the day before our ultrasound and I feel like a kid on Christmas eve:) I'm so excited to see little Collin/Taylor!!!! He/she has been hoppin' and boppin' around in my belly all day so hopefully he'll keep it up for tomorrow and we'll get to see the goods.
